24 Jan 2010 : LLANGENNECH UNDER 15's WIN AGAIN
After a long lay off the under 15s travelled to Waun to face a combined Waun / Ponturdulais side. Llan took the lead with early tries from Okan Wilson and Dan George with Steff Marshall converting both, however the deficit was soon shortened when the Waun centre crossed near the posts, this went unconverted. The next 10 minutes saw Waun camped in the Llan 22 with ferocious tackling preventing the home side from crossing the line, Tom Badger's try was the only other try in the half. HT 19 - 5
The second half was evenly fought by both sides, the only difference being Llan had started to create a platform for the backs and forwards to work off, this resulted in further tries for Okan Wilson (2 tries) and James Daniels, Dan George adding a conversion. FT 36 - 5
Excellent effort by all.
Cuts Company man of the match - Okan Wilson, for his three tries and usual big hits
